Hi, I was wondering if I can use my microphone from the original American Idol video game to record voiceovers. I mean, it has a USB connector, but I wanna know in case it screws up the game. (don't judge me, the game's fun.)
As long as the microphone is usb and you are able to use it outside of the american idol game it should work fine. To test if you are running windows xp go to start-> all programs -> accessories-> entertainment -> sound recorder. Hit the record but talk and if you are able to record you voice that means you will be able to use it in game.
