How do I solve (King's Quest IV?)

How do I open gate to free Unicorn in stable?

Every time I try to open gate to free Unicorn it just says "Your not close enough" I have tried walking up and down the gate and typing "Open Gate" numerous times at various Points on the gates, but get same result. Please Help. Rhonda Bullard Rondu56@aol.com

Don't remember, it's been years since I played this game. However I'm sure a quick google search will get you the answer you need.

Answer

You have to be standing in a very specific spot, just to the left of the pole in the center. Rosella should be overlapping the pole slightly and as far toward the back of the stable as you can get. If you're too far right, it will say you're in the way. If you're too far left, it will say you're not close enough.
