~ is the same as ` !! Dude it doesn't matter! im wondering if i should change some files?

Some things:
1) Apparently Vista gives some issues with this - I've never had any problems opening up the console, but others have. If you have Vista, that may be your problem.
2) I've also heard that wireless HP Keyboards also have that problem, so if you're using one, that could be it.

statusdepends on your keyboard language. in the UK series it's `. that's the key directly below esc.
the ~ is not the same as ` on my UK keyboard. what you need is the key directly beneath esc.
No, not happy. it's just weird... and no other keys can work? for interest if you find it, do post it.
