Rome: Total War

You CANNOT play as the SPQR when you beat the campaign..does not matter if you do it on short or long you can't. There is a way though but most cases you'll end up crashing. You have to edit your game. If you have run, then type in C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - I forgot where to go really but its not hard to figure it out.

C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\Data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\descr_strat.txt

Copy and paste romans_senate from Nonplayable to Playable.

You can play as the SPQR if you have the 1.5 patch and you do the copy and paste thing in the descr.txt but its really unstable to play as them (every other faction works fine) and it crashes alot.
