Asked on: 11/11 5:16PMSo I've run straight from Arroyo to Navarro and talked me way in etc, killed the doctor in the soundproof room and told K-9 I'd be his new master. I ran up and got the K-9 motivator went back down and used it on him, but he keeps telling me that he doesn't think I know what I am doing and that "it doesn't go there!". The strange thing is I've done this before, straight from Arroyo and it worked straight away... Am I doing something wrong??
Just keep trying. I'm fairly certain it's based on probability rather than a flat skill check, so even with ridiculously low skill you can eventually get it to work.

statusYour repair skill is too low. It doesn't take much of a bumb since you can try it again and again without penalty to get just the roll you need.
Drag the motivator into one of your hands and try it a few times, if that doesnt work it might be based on your science skill because he is a cyborg after all.
Just keep trying. You can have a really low repair skill and still eventuality get it.
Make sure the door is close. Then kill the doctor in the room. Then try using it on the K-9.
It should work then.
