Ok, on Gamefaqs it tells me what files to open up on my pc, and the codes to place in them but for both games that i have (splinter cell and crysis warhead) everytime i try to save the file it wont allow me to save it. What am i doing wrong?
This happens because the files are read only so first disable that option, make the changes, save it and enable read only once more.
This should work.

statusRight click on the file and go to properties and see if read only is enabled. If it is unclick it and then hit okay. Make your changes and then re-enable read only.
