Every now and then I come across a Big Daddy wandering around by itself, without a Little Sister. The guy's banging on the vents to get one out, but she won't come.
Do I keep following him around, or can I go about my business without worrying about having to track back later?
The Big Daddies constantly respawn, even after you've found all the Little Sisters on that level. They follow pre-set routes and continue to do so until killed. They can't call any more Little Sisters after you've found them all, so their only use is the Hypnotize Big Daddy plasmid or killing them for cash.
