Asked on: 5/16 1:20PMCan you only start one of the expansion pack careers if you graduated college? I made people and have played for a few sim days, but there is still no paranormal or show business in the job listings...

statusI'm not sure what you're talking about.
To access to the University Expansion Pack careers (Paranormal, Show Business, Artist, etc.) your sim must have finished college first.
If you created an adult sim or you let a teenager age to adulthood without going to college, then he or she will have no chance of getting any of those jobs.
Well ACTUALLY if you bought the Sims 2 Double Deluxe CD, then after you install Sims 2 University..your sim automatically gets a Sheepskin University Diploma in their inventory.
And it will allow you to access those careers without the need to go to college.
My second answer to your question is that the computer or newspaper randomly picks careers and changes everytime you get a new newspaper or midnight for computers.
Just wait and you may find the career you want.
