I'll give some advice...

1. This is the only race mode where you have to shift the gear manually. So when the Race starts, be sure to get a Perfect Start to have maximum acceleration. Then along the race, shift your car's gear according to the dial's color; Blue for a Good Shift, Green for a Perfect Shift, and Red for an Over Rev. One advice, don't let your Tachometer's dial stay Red for some time or you'll blow your Engine and you'll lose the race.

2. The track for a Drag Race is relatively straight-forward. All you have to do control your car is by changing lanes on the track. Avoid traffics and obstruction because speed is everything, and if you crash hard enough you'll be Totaled and get kicked out of the race immediately.
