In company of heroes, can your units carry more than one heavy weapon?
Those ones that are added to your squad, such as the M9 Bazooka and the Recoilless Rifle, you're allowed to carry more than one.
For weapons such as mortars and HMG (the ones you need to face), you'll need to drop (usually) three members, which will man the weapon.

That site will explain the weapons that your squad can simply pick up, as well as providing how many of each weapon squads can carry.
