Why cant ctrl+shift+c work to open cheat box??

I tired to open the cheat box(ctrl+shift+c) with an acer laptop and works.. But it does not work for my dell laptop.. Anyone tell me why!!! Help me!!!

I've tried several ways of holding down the ctrl+shift+c buttons & unfortunately, yes i have tried holding them down at the same time but still doesn't work..

i have a dell vostro 1400.. And the funny thing is that i can't even get the cheat box in Sims 2 in my laptop! i think its a compatibility prob.. or is not? or are there different versions out there?

??? That's weird. I have a Dell Inspiron 1501, and it works perfectly fine for me. Are you holding it all down at the same time?
