Asked on: 1/10 7:12AMI have this issue on the retail version and the steam version. I can run the game for hours no problem on single player. When I click "login" on the main screen it says "Initializing Service" then it crashes with "General Protection Fault, History: "
Not sure whats going on.

statusI had to find this solution for a friend a while back, apparently it is due to running dual/quad core CPUs (while the game is "optimised" for single processor machines)
You can download a program which allows you to tweak how many processors a program uses, plus a few other nifty features.
Just need to make a profile for the Vegas 2 game and apply the appropriate settings.
