X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Question from embrezar
Asked on: 7/5 5:34AMI was wondering: does completing every list item in the statistics list actually do anything, or do they exist solely for bragging rights? I still have 5 more out of the 15 statistics to complete, and doing so would be very time consuming, with one of them ("Devil's Brigade") would cause me to go through the entire game again since I don't know which dog tags I missed. Is it worth the time investment, or should I just not even bother? I mean, if I'm going to have to go through the whole game again, and if completing all 15 statistics doesn't do anything for me, I might as well start a new game on Hard difficulty and just start from scratch.
As an unrelated question, I've noticed that the "Drop Dead" statistic doesn't stop incrementing once it reaches its max; my statistic shows 20/10 currently, and every time I throw someone to their death, I get another point... it's the only statistic that does this, the others stopped counting once they reached their max. Is this a bug/glitch, has anyone else seen this behaviour?
On the PC, they are useless.
On console, they are part of the achievements/Trophies so if you wanted all of them, you'd basically have to complete the statistics tab. Maybe they intended to include Live functionality on the PC version, but since there is none as of right now, they have no specific use, aside from giving you something to work towards.

statusI'm don't think the statistics are really worthwhile. I'm playing the game also and I'm almost done with it. I'm already gonna fight Deadpool. The statistics don't really give you anything but a way to kind of force you to use the Fury powers. The only one that I thought proved useful was the dog tags one, as when you find one, you get XP.
As for the "Drop Dead" statistic, I too have noticed this. I think it's some type of bug with the game or something..
