"Strategy and Management."

Got a lot of time on your hands? Don't waste it on a RPG game!! Trust me on that one. Beating a opponent in a fight because your character is a higher level than the opposition is just not worth the time. Instead take RTS on for size. RTS, Real Time Strategy, actually takes up a lot more than just a high level character to win the fight. You have to be cunning and have brains to claim your victory, and Hearts of Iron 2 Doomsday delivers this opportunity like nothing else.

Now this game does focus a lot on strategy and not enough on graphics.. I'll have to admit to that. But eye candy is just not worth when comparing a good game with a crappy one with the better graphics. The game play itself far surpasses the need for better graphics and in my book, having a great time playing a well developed game is a heck of a lot better than any other kind of game.

Now about the game play, there are a lot of things to do!! Let's just put it that way. Travel back in time to WW2 and recreate or take a different route, whichever suits you, to see the outcome of the war. You choose a nation and try to grow your nation to the max. So many variables play a part in the outcome that to list them, you'd need a book.

I actually never played the first Hearts of Iron, the first one, so I wouldn't know anything about it, I started playing the Paradox series with Hearts of Iron 2. This game is great and that's about all I can say about it! It has EVERYTHING!! Strategy, management, upgrades, leaders, special weapons, the army and just about the whole world on the tips of your fingers. This game definitely deserves a 10. I always liked complicated games that take time to learn and master because if it wasn't for those things, what would be the point of playing a game? Anyways, thats my view on it and I hope you guys think about getting yourself a copy, after all, in most places it's only about 20$. I say, how about spending those 20$ toward something that will actually develop your brain. 'But it's just a game', you might say. And i'd respond, ' Is it?'
