"A fun mystery adventure."

Do you like suspense? Mystery? MURDER? If you say yes to one of them, this is the game for you!

Access Software made a thrilling game that surprised fans with continuing the interactive movie of Under A Killing Moon.

Well, here are the ratings:

Graphics: 6/10

Ugh... 2-D pixel pictures with pixely people on the pixely background. It is sometimes very blurry. The conversation scenes and cutscenes are real people with (some) real sets. The downside is that it is still pixely. PD (not Perfect Dark, Pandora Directive) has very good ''auxiliary panel'' graphics that aren’t pixely. The object pictures are detailed and clear (except the pictures with faces and text).

Sound:9/10

Sometimes the music is jazz. Sometimes it is ''On the Run'' type music. Either way, I like it. The 1 point taken off is for the quality. The voices are also expressive and well done.

Plot:10/10

You are a P.I. named Tex Murphy. A man named Gordon Fitzpatrick hired you to find a man called Thomas Malloy. This leads into many mini-mysteries. The main case and mini-mysteries lead into many big things including a surprise ending(in some cases). There are 5 (I think) different endings, which are determined by how many points you have at the end of the game.

Gameplay:10/10

An adventure game with suspense, mystery, and murder is fun, right? Of course it is! Two play modes within one game, interactive and move. Interactive is basically self-explanatory, so is move mode. You converse with other people, try to find and buy items, and solve many hard puzzles. There are two difficulties, entertainment and gamer. Entertainment is basically an easy mode with optional hints (that reduce your points). Gamer mode is a hard mode with no hints and where the puzzles are timed. Both modes are very fun. The puzzles are challenging and entertaining. Talking with others may have multiple outcomes, such as discouraging your girlfriend Chelsea. It is a very fun adventure game that has hours of gameplay.

Replayability: 10/10

You’ll definitely want to play this game again and again to see all the endings and cutscenes. I had fun doing this. You’ll also want to play it again just to have fun.

Overall: 9/10
