"Great game but too SHORT!"

Well, I'll say it in the first place that this game is REALLY SHORT! I finished it only in two days! And the title is The LONGEST Journey? Oh, well, this game has some good elements though.

Gameplay 5/10
The gameplay is quite linear and doesn't really have a replay value. I play the game twice and there's no different ending, quest, etc. (like Chrono Trigger or Elder Scroll IV). Well, it's an adventure game anyway. For a beginner, though, the game is enjoyable because the control is very simple and easy to understand. You can even use a gamepad. Low replay value will make you boring after the second play.
The puzzles are easy to solve and childish if I may say. In addition, the loading screen shows up all the time when changing screen and area. Even worse, you have to go back and forth to do the task (this is not really a bad thing though since the loading is fast enought - I use 512 MB RAM)
The combat is also a silly thing here. It should not be there IMHO. You just have to punch and kick and punch...done!

Sound 10/10
Yep, I give this game a 10 for its sound. The voice actor is really cool even at the beginning of the game when a monk speak Chinese (Cool!). The bgm(s) are also nice plus there're songs in the game too. Listen to the bgm in Zoe room and some scene that has song in it.

Graphic 9/10
The graphic is astounding even though it lacks face expression (not like Half Life 2). The high tech environment to magical realm where Zoe, the protagonist, walks, runs, sleeps, whatever, is very nice. Don't compare it to Fable:TLC though, Dreamfal still down below.

Overall 7/10
The strong points in this game are the sound and the graphic. The bad side is in the gameplay. So if you like adventure game with good graphic but easy gameplay, this is your game. But if you prefer a long and more complicated adventure game, you better rent this game. Trust me, it only take 10 to 15 hours to finish the game.
