"Pretty bad. Not the worst, but still pretty bad."

Baseball Mogul is a baseball game in which you take total managerial control of a team. You decide your team's rosters, coaching, and pricing. It's not such a bad game, but it requires a lot of patience.

Game-play: 6/10
This game provides the player with a TON of stuff to do. This can, at times, become overwhelming in the sense that you will have to check on a million things after every game. You can't take the field in this game, but you can play a simulation in which you tell the computer what action to take in the game.
The game-play isn't bad, but it gets old way too fast. Basically, you just fiddle around with salaries, incomes, ticket/concession prices, and budgets for ever and ever. Not bad if you like that kind of stuff.

Graphics: 3/10
...they don't really exist, but the menus are looking pretty... crappy. Not the best menu graphics I've seen, and since there aren't any other in-game graphics to speak of, they're pretty bad overall.

Sound: 4/10
When there are actual sounds, they're pretty nice. The beer being poured into the glass, the sound of a wrapper being opened, and the sound of a ball being whacked out of the park are actually pretty good. Unfortunately, there's nothing else that makes sound. No music, no menu sound effects. So it's pretty bad because the sounds are few and far in between.

Replay Value: 5/10
It's kind of fun to try this with the different teams. That's about it. Nothin' else to "replay." The game simulations are "fun" in a sense that it's the only time you'll be "seeing" your players do anything.

Overall: 4/10
Pretty crappy, but not totally crappy. You can have a nice time with it if you like baseball simulations. There are worse baseball games out there, but this one isn't really worth trying to find. It's just too tedious. I forgot to mention one incredibly stupid thing about this game... the player's names are completely screwed up. I don't know if it's because they couldn't a license to put the names in the game or what, but it's really really distracting. That's about all there is to say about it. Yup.
