Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness

"If you like strategy games, this is one of the best"

Warcraft II is a real time strategy game that is based on war. You can command the human or the orc troops in various missions to destroy each other. Everything depends on your skills of resource management and decision making.
You start off with some gold and a few peasants. You have to start mining gold to get more finances and cutting trees to get wood. You have to build different structures that are going to aid you in your battle. The structures include barracks, oil refineries, shipyards, blacksmiths and more. Each of these buildings have specific uses and are equally important. You also have to build up your army by creating soldiers and vehicles. You can create different kinds of people from peasants to mages. The more people you create, the better your chances of victory. But, you also need to get enough resources to create these people. Also, you need to make various vehicles which require even more resources. Ultimately, when you are ready, you attack the enemy base and have to destroy it completely.
You can even create your own missions by designing the land and determining where what kinds of stuff are going to be. It is always fun to create a lot of people and have a super war, with lots of deaths. Warcraft II also supports multiplayer play over a network, although I haven't tried that yet.

Graphics: 8.
The charcters and buildings all look cool. They are distinguishable. The terrains all look realistic too.

Sound: 8.
The in game music is pretty good. Also the voices of the different characters are funny and they say some pretty funny things too.

Gameplay: 8.
You use the mouse most of the time to get the job done. Click and drag the things on the screen to give orders. Its prett easy. The game itself is quite challenging.

Replay value: 8.
It has a multiplayer, so it is pretty high. There are a fair number of missions in the single player to keep you involved.

Overall: 8.
I am not a big RTS fan, but this game was pretty good and entertaining.
