"I continue to be a pirate, and I like it very much!"

Forewords
**************

After the success with the first Monkey Island, LucasArt released Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge in 1991. This time, the graphics are a little more detailed, and there's a few more dialogues that will make you laugh. I'm always wondering how LucasArt are keeping the dialogues up, because I never seem to get bored of them or feel like I've heard them before. Another great thing is that Monkey Island 2 is that it's twice as long as the original! And the puzzles are also harder than ever. It requires alot of thinking. Please enjoy this review.

Story and what you'll do
*****************************

This time, Guybrush Threepwood will be on an island called Scabb Island. He has heard so many stories about the unknown treasure Big Whoop so he decides to search for the map and then find the treasure. But that's not all, soon he will find out that the ghost pirate he killed one year ago is still alive and are ready to make his revenge on Guybrush! This time you will explore more islands than in the first game, and the puzzles are so tricky and fun to do. It requires alot of running here and there to collect items and then find out where to use them. Anyway, stuck on Scabb Island, Guybrush must find a way to get a ship and then begin his journey after the treasure and defeat LeChuck once and for all. On the journey you will also meet recognizable characters from the original, like the crazy boat salesman Stan, and of course the governor of Melee Island Elaine. I like the story much better than the original, because how exciting isn't it to look for a treasure?

Graphics
*****************

The graphics are a little bit more detailed, other than that it's exactly the same as the original. I also think that in the original you couldn't see the character's teeth, but anyway, this time you can and it makes the characters more alive.

Sound
**************

Yeah, they're still using the same blipping sound, but this time it doesn't get annoying in my opinion. Maybe it's because I'm used to the sound in the original? Anyway, the sound are good, and you will like it.

Gameplay
***************

After beating Monkey Island 2, you will get the same feeling as when you beat the original. You just can't wait to beat it again! And you can also like the previous one, try to beat the game under 1,5 hours. Yeah, it's not possible to beat it under just one hour, or that's at least what I've seen. This is the best Monkey Island by far, so get it at once if you've played the original or if you haven't!
