"Don't judge too soon! this game is ridiculously fun and addicting....after the first part..."

At first this game seemed to be pretty poor...the first area requires such computer power that it lagged like crazy. The first area also was not very visually stimulating and made the world seem dull. I decided to give it a chance though, so for 1.5 hours I suffered through dark, dull graphics and pure lag (don't get me wrong some of you may love the dark, gloomy swamp theme), but once I entered the "real" world and the plot started to thicken my addiction grew...

Story - 8/10
I haven't beaten it yet, but so far the story is pretty good, maybe a little unoriginal. I like the cut scenes though and how the characters are much more involved.

Graphics - 9/10
The graphics have surpassed any other PC RPG I have ever played so far. The colors are great and the world is even better. Although it requires a nice machine to run, it is well worth it. The only thing I wish is that certain graphics were a little more detailed, but hey I can't complain!

Sound - 9/10
I don't see why people in other reviews are complaining about overlap of the soundtrack! First of all there are plenty of new tunes to get you involved in the game. The battle theme music is great! Sure there are some songs that are from the first neverwinter nights, but rather than criticizing the creators on that, I think they should be commended because it brings back some nice memories from the first game. I think that a mixture of old and new music themes is a definite plus!

Gameplay - 9/10
The gameplay is awesome. Sometimes it's annoying because your NPCs won't always do what you want and they get in the way, but I'm sure there are ways to fix that with options and the NPC control menu.

Overall - 9/10
This game is a great buy. Although I recommend that you get a nice/new system to play it almost lag free. The visuals are great, the game is addicting as hell, and I think I will enjoy it for a long time b/c of the online play and many mods that will be coming out! I'll leave the creating of the mods to uh...more talented people with computers and programming skills...
