"Is it really the best RPG for the PC? or just a hype?"

Personally, I am the type of gamer who likes RPG games A LOT. I've seen different RPG games in different consoles and a lot of them were very good games.

This game however, doesn't impress me much. The graphics are great. With 16-bit 640x480 graphics, the environment, the characters' images are very pleasing to the eyes.

As an RPG gamer, I have my own criteria in judgind if the game is really good or not. First, the Story Line. this game has a good story line. The events are well planned and it will excite you when you advance through the game. Second, RPG elements like character build up (leveling up and character stats). This game has a very complex but in-depth character stats. It really affects how you battle your enemies. Another Aspect of RPG games that I take into consideration is the characters' interaction with the different people. How you talk to another person to recieve hints about where to go and what to do next. This game is excellent in that aspect. You can easily know where to go. Another aspect is the battle system. Basically, I really liked the turn-based battle system in this game. It's fair.

Most importantly, controls! How can you finish a game when the controls are fuzzy? I admit that this game really annoys me when talking about controls. There is a road in front of you, but you can't walk there? I'm pointing my mouse here but Maya won't go there! When I use the keypad, Maya moves in a wrong direction! This is the main reason I cut off 2 points from my rating.

Compared to other PC RPG games, like Diablo I and II and the 2 Final Fantasies that were translated from the Playstation, this game can very well match up to them.

All in all, this game is really good for everyone. You just have to be patient with the controls. As a conclusion, I do recommend that you buy this game. This game lived up to the hype that ''It is the best RPG for the PC''. Great work developers! This game lived up to its name!
