"Another advance on the series, although it look bad"

When I bought this game, I thought: is this worth it? I saw many topics on this game about very harsh criticisms. Even before that, I was really thinking if I should buy this or the new Age of Empire sequel. I made my decision, not a mistake, but still I wasn't satisfied. Eventhough my PC can run it in high graphics, the game isn't just right.

Please don't humiliate this sequel. As far I know, people are just pretending to have it and saying that it sucks like this, it sucks like that but as far as I know, only the players who make reviews have the game. Don't knock it till you try it. Put other criticisms with a grain of salt.

As I told you, I wasn't satisfied in this game. With only 3 "unique" factions, there is just limited choices to choose from. They call that 3 factions unique? Not really. Even if each faction have a different tech tree, it's still not enough to simulate the whole world. I don't believe that the whole world is just divided into 3 factions.

Although an awaited game like EE2, it didn't get the whole trust of the gamers. The demo looks really bad and I tried it. Although the world domination campaign is great and life like, the division of the territories ain't right. It's just too big. China and Japan? Just in one territory? Impossible. Absolutely not happening.

The battles look really good but did they based this game on the award winning sequel of Warcraft? The animation is just bad. Although the blood and gore was improved, the animations just ain't right. Look at your javelineers. They looked like a clown hippy hopping while they so called "run" they also hold something like a scotland musical instrument. Observe when they attack. Funny, just hilarious.

The sounds are just great. The soldier's shouts, razing buildings, etc. I think this is just the good one in this game. Almost all are average.

Even though this game face so much music, I did became an excitement to it's fans. We didn't escaped the ads a week or two before it's release. Almost everyone became interested to it. I don't say that it made a hit. The ads just paid off. The first day of it's release was anticipated. People hoped that this was improved. Indeed, this was improved, but it's also becoming more complicated. Don't worry, take it easy, once you get the hang of this game, there is no turning back at least, for a week before you get bored again.

Although I recommend first to try the demo, if you want, buy it. It's your choice.
