Shogo: Mobile Armor Division

"Still a very good game even today"
Well here is my review for Shogo Mobile armour division, for starters I found this game to be a very good budget rack buy a couple years back, it was an extremely enjoyable first person/ third person shooter.
Story: This is one of the only weak points of the game, it is a very cheesy anime style story, and everything feels like anime so if you're not into anime, like me you may not enjoy the game as much as you would of. I still found the game to be quite enjoyable.
Audio: There is voice acting, it is decent I would not call it amazing but it is pretty good for an older, small shooter. The weapons sound pretty good, I found the Mech weapon explosives sounded really good. Overall I still think the voice acting is pretty good, if you look at when the game was released, it is pretty impressive that this game had some decent voice acting.
Controls: This game controls very well, weather you're running through enemy bases with your giant Mech or infiltrating a base on foot. It was pretty solid.
Game play: The game play in this game is very solid, there are really two types of games in this one game, when your in a Mech it is kind of a run and gun style game, you get a feeling of being invincible, then when you get out of your Mech and go on foot you need to start being more careful and take more cover since you die easier. The weapons in this game were also very fun to use, there are two branches of weapons all adding up to a little less then 20 kinds of weapons total. The human weapons were fun to use; there are some neat ideas. I wish there could be a bit more destructibility in the environment but looking at the time it was released you could understand it.
Graphics: The graphics are good for the time they were made but if you play this game in modern day it probably will not impress you that much but hey, if you give this game a chance even today I bet you could still have a lot of fun with it.
Overall I would say buy this game if you see it cheap somewhere. You could still have a lot of fun with this game even though its older.
