World in Conflict

Review by ChiuMicester

"A Fine Revolution of War"

I gotta admit, the first thing that admire me about this game was the graphic. I know that Sierra the game company isn't all that good but, it all change once World in Conflict came out. At first, I thought is just another war game with tanks, aircraft, and men. Ooo boy, I was wrong. This game was actually pretty good with all the story line.

Videos: 6/10
Reason: Although the story may be really good but, the graphics on the videos isn't all that good to me. They look like plastic army men toys. I've seen wrose but, this is ok.

Graphics: 9/10
Reason: Intense graphic with fully details maps and units. Smoke screen were the best of the best with all graphics that totally look like real smoke. The nuke was the main part of the ''amazing'' graphics. Once the nuke blew up, the graphic was so stunning to me. Is gotta be a first that I have that type of graphic.

Story Line: 9/10
Reason: Gotta admit, was pretty cool that Russia invaded USA. They even have reason, problems to the story on how they got pass the Navy and the coast. They hid themselves in cargo ship that no one can tell. And the story goes on with tons of real time modern war at these type of time. And is all base on real-life, nothing sci-fiction or anything. No aliens, no super weapon, etc. Is one of the best story I've play so far in PC.

Sounds: 9/10
Reason: Is like, they actually call some army men to provided the voice and acting making it so real like army style. With real army calling and nickname and codename.

Battle Mode: 7/10
Reason: Is not all that bad but, it take awhile to finish one battle which take a long time. Units move to slow and sometime you can't see the attack. The only thing that you can see is smoke and missile. When they fire bullets, you are unable to see the bullet. Although that is in real life that you can't see bullet but, in the game, you can't tell wether your hitting the enemy or not. And it takes awhile to send units to you, and you cannot make a bigger army.

Online: 7/10
Reason: Unlike EA Games, you do not lose any connection while playing an online game. Even the host lags, you do not lag while playing this game if you have a really good graphic card and good connection. The only problem about online is that not many people actually play or go online in this game. Making it... sorta ''boring'' when you play too long.

OVERALL RATING:
47/60
