"Decent idea, poor execution"

Sniper: path of vengeance, one afternoon I was looking in my basement for a game to play, I found Sniper: POV (from now on I will call it just Sniper). I looked at some reviews for this game and realized it was probably some crappy budget title, and it was. As I was looking through some screen shots of the game, I noticed one of them had an inventory screen, then even a level up screen. I became exited hoping this could be another Deus ex style game, oh boy was I wrong. This is probably one of the worst games ever created, its not the game play itself but the A.I issues and the bugs, and boy are there ever bugs, even in the patched version.

Sound: The sound's in this game suck, the weapon sounds are below average, the voice acting is pretty bad to but I mean, who expected a budget title to actually have voice over's, I was pleasantly surprised to see any kind of attempt for voice over's.

Story: There is not much of a story in this game, you're a mercenary who gets double crossed then you end up in jail, then a riot breaks out then you pretty much just wipe out half a major city. The story is weak.

Graphics: The weapons in this game look decent, the character models looked a bit below average in this game and the textures are a bit below average, but this game really fails in collision detection, I mean enemy's can run through wall's, now unless there super hero's I find this a little odd.

Game play: There is not much point to leveling up anything except health, I didn't play this game all that much, I quit maybe after the 5th mission because of the bug's. I love seeing company's try to make fps and rpg hybrids since there isn't enough of them, but sadly Mirage failed big time. I will not even get started on the bugs, if you can get this game to run for more then 20 minutes you are very lucky (or you might be unlucky since you'll have to play this game for more then 20 minutes!)

If you ever see this game in a bargain bin I would have to say, skip it. This game isn't really worth spending any money on since you probably will not even be able to play it anyway.
