Lionheart: Legacy of the Crusader
Review by therater13
"Why did i have to play this."
Here is my review for Lion heart, legacy of the crusader. This game is one of the worst RPG's I have ever played, it is a blatant rip off of fallout but I will get to that later. I regret buying this game.
Audio: There is not much audio, or at least I didn't notice all that much, there are some crappy fighting sounds but they are not that impressive. I did not hear any voice acting and the music was pretty crappy out of what I heard but I did not notice the music that much.
Graphics: I actually liked the look of this game; it has an old school isometric feel to it. Everything looks pretty nice, the environments could have used a little more detail though, and the character models looked alright.
Story: I honestly didn't pick up on a story, at the beginning I read a little back ground but I didn't care to much as it was not very interesting, the story telling in this game is not executed very well at all. In RPG's the story is very important, if you have a crappy story in a first person shooter it isn't a big deal but come on, your making an RPG so at least give it a decent story.
Game play: Oh boy, this is where I really have a rant, for one the interface in this game is really horrible, I only played this game for a couple hours then I realized it was crap but the interface did not give me much inspiration to play it more. The skill system in this game is a blatant rip off of fallout, except some tags have been modified to fit the mead evil setting rather a post apocalyptic setting like fallout had, the only difference is fallout was a good game. The combat in this game isn't anything to get exited for either, its pretty crappy, probably even worse then plane scape torment's combat. This game was supposed to feature companions but I couldn't find any! This made me pretty angry, I even read a walkthrough to see where they were. I hate playing solo games so that didn't help the score in this piece of crap either.
Buy? I would have to say skip this one, there are better RPG's out there this is just an imitator of all the good games out there.
