"Better, but still weak."

Beyond divinity, this was the first game I saw in the divinity's and it's the first one I wanted to get, I wish this would have been the only divinity I would have had to play, I was not a fan of divine divinity at all so I had low expectations for this game, turns out it was considerably better then the first game but still not all that great, but playable at the least. Hi.

Story: Again I didn't know what the heck was going on, I know you wake up in a dungeon and you have something like a dark version of yourself with you as a companion. I thought this was cool but not explained well. Then when you left the dungeon at the beginning, which was fairly long it kind of went out there. The story is pretty weak but not as weak as the story in the first game.

Graphics: They changed the graphical engine the game used so this game looks a little bit better in my opinion, I still don't think it looked as nice as say, dungeon siege or siege of Avalon, but for the time it was made the graphics looked just fine.

Audio: Again the audio was not that strong in this game, the combat sounds were kind of average but the music was a bit better then divine divinity's terrible sounds. It is an improvement.

Game play: This game plays better then divine divinity in every way, its les quirky but still very quirky, this game fixed one fatal flaw. You now get a companion to travel with so you are not always alone, this really helped me get immersed in the atmosphere, I didn't play this game for super long though, I played maybe a 3rd of the game though before I lost all my save games. But I think if these developers keep at it they may make a really good game next time, I mean this was already a step up from divine divinity.

Seeing as how this is an expantion pack for divine divinity I can not see how I can recommend it, the other game just is not worth it and this one may be better but it is still pretty bad. This game is at least play able though. That's all I have to say about that.
