Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Review by 50centrulezz
"Full of blast and should not be missed!"
Well Mr.Tom Clancy is back and this time he has got something up his sleeve! I must say that Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is really a cool and a technically mastered game. It was a friend of mine who informed me about something like Rainbow Six Vegas but it was too late to buy it and I directly skipped to the second part, so , basically I wont be able to compare it with its previous brother. Whatever this game is a must play for any tactical and/or FPS genre fan and others will also divinely enjoy it! No more chit-chat lets begin with the review!!
Story--- (8/10)
The story is really very well done for a tactical shooter game. Terrorists are again after the beautiful city of Las Vegas and are practically planting bombs everywhere and trying to demolish all fame induced buildings and Las Vegas's key people and we will have to save it. You will have two sidekicks at your disposal with a variety of firearms to deal with the bad guys. The story really is good and manages to get you to the end.
Sound---- (9/10)
Very well done here! Guns sound precise, from the sound of a LMG firing a hundred rounds per second to the massive explosions of grenades, everything is done very nicely! Voice acting is not hollywood class but better than most games out there and manages to hold par with the game's fabulous ambience.
Graphics---- (10/10)
Agreed it is no Crysis but still it is really good and will test your PC to it's limits. From the tiny details of the shells of an empty cartridge to large trucks and characters are really perfect ! There is nothing to not like about this game's graphics. You will fall in love the moment you play it!
Game-play---- (9/10)
The core part of any game in the market. Well put it this way that Rainbow Six Vegas 2 has a glamorous(yes!) game-play.You have to command two more teammates and they will do exactly what you tell them. Your character can also perform quite a moves. It is not a run and gun game and will have you using it's excellent cover system. The cover system is a good one and your player will stick his back to the object at which you are trying to take cover. From there you can shuffle sideways. You have two options of attacking while in cover mode. One is the blind fire mode where your player will shoot without aiming but will not take any damage and the other will get your player peek out of the cover spot, while this is a accurate way but it will also hurt your character. Your character is fully customisable from selecting the gender, the face, the clothing and also the equipment. Equipment and clothing can be changed afterwards through an equipment box which you encounter at certain points in all missions or at the main-menu. The orders you will give your teammates will affect the outcome of the mission. You can ask them to do all sorts of things like opening a door through various methods(grenade and clear, smoke and clear, open and clear, etc),climbing on ropes(you can too),throwing grenades, etc. You can move them anywhere you like. They are smart and there was not even a single instance when I had to restart the game because of them! You can customise your weapons by fitting silencers, laser sights, etc. All in all it is one hell of a game!
Controls--- (10/10)
Kudos UbiSoft!
Play-Time---- (9/10)
Very long story mode(10+ hours),a good terrorist hunt mode plus a very deep multiplayer will ensure that the game will keep you for a while.
What are you guys waiting for? Stuff some cash in your pocket and run out to buy this wonderful game!
