"Bioshock, somewhat dissapointing!"

Okay so I go and pay out the 60$ for this bleeping game and what do I get? Nothing more than more reasons for people out there to continue to download games for free instead of paying for them. In my opinion DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!! WASTE OF YOUR MONEY!!! At the very least wait for a decent patch that hopefully addresses the problems in this game. Seriously. Here are the reasons,

1. Graphics 5/10
They are okay actually but the environments often leave unable to see anything properly a lot of the time. Dx10 doesn't look anything different from Dx9 for this game. So don't rush out for Vista, it's simply not worth the switch of OS.

2. Sound 8/10
It is ok and does set the mood of creepiness but there is often things talking in rooms where there are no characters/enemies. This is annoying and seemly pointless to me. Other than that it was pretty good.

3. Story 7/10
The story is not that easy to follow for a good part of the game since you never actually encounter anybody alive to tell it. Other then a disconnected relation to some characters over a radio. They basically lead you all over the place to collect this and do that often without any real sense of movement in the storyline. Once you do figure out what's going on the story itself is rather interesting.

4.Game play 3/10
Also I did not get to finish the game as I played it through to the same buggy point three different times with no apparent solution. It is just a bug that a lot of people get but not all apparently. This bug after hours of game play basically cuts the game short and leaves you frustrated and feeling like you've only wasted your time and money. There is no solution or help from the customer service, they only tell you to start over. Which in fact I did three times on three different PC's all with the same conclusion. I get to the same point where the game bugs out and does not allow me to continue. The point I'm referring to is where you get to Langford's office. She is killed and you get a safe combination to a safe in the same room. This safe is supposed to contain key items, however it was empty for me every time I tried. I've since read on the net that this is in fact a common error/bug. But there is not solution/patch or fix at this time.

Conclusion:
This is a game that was poorly constructed and is a perfect example of big companies making poor products with little regard to quality since once you buy software you can NOT return it if you are not satisfied. BIOSHOCK, although a great concept of a game it falls very short of delivering anything substantial due to sever programming errors and average graphics. I give it a 6/10.
