"Like none other games."

My friend and I were playing this game for 2 minutes, and it is creepy good. Set in the underwater city of Rapture, killing crazy genetic splicers, saving little kids, beating up guys in giant scuba suits with a fishbowl helmet, yea that seems interesting. At first, reading the title saying "Bioshock", most people would think it's a high-tech sci-fi game. It actually ended up in the 1960's.

Story: 9/10
Very confusing at first. The plane you aboard on crashes and you find this underwater city (Rapture). It felt very sudden. It wasn't like other FPS games where you receive a mission and you go to that place purposely. In Bioshock, you find this place and you're willing to go in and discover it. After reading a few diaries and the help of the Atlas guy, Rapture was a city for people with "dreams and paradise". Scientists invented these genetic modifiers which gives people "powers" and the people of Rapture got addicted to it. And they went crazy after taking too much of those genetic modifiers and started killing everyone. Now they're locked inside of Rapture killing anyone that comes in with normal health. The story and plot was creative yet complicated. I played for 3 days only knowing half of what's going on.

Graphics: 10/10
The best water graphics I've seen. The water droplets that appear on your screen, the ocean that you were swimming in after the plane crash, etc. I like the reflection of the water, I've rarely seen that kind of water graphics. Other than the water graphics, other graphics were also very good.

Sound: 9/10
The sound of Bioshock really puts you into the game. It makes you feel kinda scared and nervous. From the creepy things the splicers say to the background music. It fits into the game. Kind of a mysterious, scary tone.

Gameplay: 9/10
The gameplay is logical like. You use the electrobolt the electrify the water or use the incinerate to burn up oil. Logical like and interactive like. The plasmid thing puts in the sci-fi part of the game which gives the game a boost of fun. I don't think there's ever a game where you inject yourself with plasmids and get cool powers. The gameplay was very creative and cool. Aside from the plasmids, you can hack into machines. Another creative idea. It's basically a puzzle you do with pipes connecting one side to another. Although I don't like the fact that the game is a bit nerve-wrecking. At certain points of the game, some splicers just pops out of the nowhere scaring you to death and you panic like hell. Very, very, nerve-wrecking.

Final Words:
Bioshock is an epic sci-fi game. None other games is like it. Creative, fun, and creepy. A great game to play with a friend at your side. This game is great for gamers who likes intense and violent games. Also a game for graphic-diggers. Although, I still wonder why it's called Bioshock.
