"World of Warcraft : Wrath of the Repetitive King"

Ah World of Warcraft, the king of MMO's yet to be challenged by any. Wrath of the Lich King marks the start of yet another WoW Expansion, and with it comes 10 more levels, countless new areas as well as new dungeons as well as a brand new Hero Class : Death Knights.

Will it live up to expectation? Let's jump right in!

Gameplay : 6/10
That's correct, I've given Gameplay a 6/10. Now only is it the same boring grind with maybe 1 or 2 bright spots, it's the same boring dungeons and the same boring content that received a very harsh difficulty nerf making it easy enough for a 5 year old to raid successfully. As for PvP, it's seemingly unbalanced with the addition of the Broken *ahem* I mean Hero Class Death Knights. These guys ARE the Arena. If you're caught dead without one on your team you probably will have a very tough time battling it out for number 1.

Storyline : 10/10
My favorite part of Warcraft series, the lore. With the addition of the "mini-lore" that you see in the areas as well as the various encounters with Arthas (The Lich King), one will truly appreciate the story, even if you're a PvP Fanatic.

Sound/Graphics : 9/10
For being out for so long, World of Warcraft does seem to be doing well in the Graphics department. The game is just built to be beautiful, and even in the Naxxramas raid, the gloomy feel even makes you appreciate how detailed the ugliness of it all really is. The sound is just magnificent, from the boss encounters to the sound of the new areas, Blizzard made the right choice in music this time. Along with the stunning cartoon-style feel, the music just makes the game feel just right.

First "Hero Class" 10/10:
The first ever "Hero Class" (as depicted by Blizzard) has an extremely new look, as well as starting experience. Death Knights are the first class to start at level 55, and in the same amount of time it'd take you to go to level 1-12, you'll already be 58 starting your way back into Outlands. Personally, the new Hero Class puts a new spin on gameplay, but when it comes down to it...many who've been in Outlands for countless amounts of time probably does not want to go back and grind it out from 58-70 once again, leaving Death Knights to primarily new players, and some hardcore veterans. In all, at level 80 they are one of the most broken classes in the game, outdoing almost every class (Yes, including the never dying Pallies) in both PvP & PvE. Death Knights are the type of class that you'll want to have on your side, and facing them is just a horror scene.

While the game play department might have stayed the same, and the basic WoW experience unchanged World of Warcraft : Wrath of the Lich King is a definite pick up for anybody who played Burning Crusade, and is a veteran of the series. While most of us will probably end up quitting on the game, and letting newer players take our place, WoW is here to stay for a seemingly very long time.

Overall I give World of Warcraft : Wrath of the Lich King an 8 out of 10.
