"1602 AD, Should it be in your computer?"

1602 AD: The game that never should have been made.

Imagine you just got tired of playing Age Of Empires2 the age of kings. You’ve beat everything and need a new game. You head down to a computer store and… What’s this? You see a game called 1602 AD. You look at the back and think it will be a good strategy game like Starcraft, AOE2, and C&C. You take it to the checkout stand and buy it. You race home to your computer and install it. Once its done you start to play it. The first thing that comes to mind is this, “ What was I doing when I bought this?” You rush back to the store to try and take it back. Unfortunately the store is closed. You force yourself to take a second crack at playing it. The graphics are terrible and it’s way to complicated. You realize you’ve become a huge Idiot at making this purchase.

Believe me 1602AD is perhaps one of the worst games out there. I’ve seen Disney games that are a lot better then this game. The people who made it must have been blind, deaf, stupid, and drunk.

Gt Interactive software, Max Design, and Sunflowers had a good Idea, but the game was just too stupid. Its like building your own town and trading. It sounds ok but it’s just plain horrible.

In the game you must build a settlement, trade, and fight off pirates and plenty more enimies. The game is complicated and it takes many hours to learn how to play well. By the time you learn how to play you will have either sold it, trashed it, or put it on a dusty shelf never to be seen again.

Please take my warning instead of this buy a computer game worth your money like Diablo 2, or AOE2. Just don’t use your money on this one, cause if you do you better start righting a suicide note.

If you already bought this game then read this for some pros and cons about what you can do:

Pro: Makes a great gift to someone you hate =)
Con: It’s too cruel to make them feel that bad

Pro: Makes great firewood!
Con: Can’t burn well

Pro: A good dog toy
Con: Dog’s may choke on sharp pieces

On a scale of 1-10 Im afraid It will have to earn a 2.
It got the 2 because the company had a great Idea and would have made a great game if it was published by blizzard or Microsoft.
