This game is a PC’s football based game about being a manager in a club in one of twenty-six leagues which available in this game.

This game wasn’t a newcomer as it was the 3rd sequel of ‘Championship Manager’ and also the newest version from Championship Manager 3, which available in every shop which sold PC games. Maybe there were many of Championship Manager’s fans that misunderstood and thought that this Championship Manager version 00/01 was the 5th sequel from Championship Manager games. Actually, this game was only the newest version from Championship Manager 3, which had a new database from the past Championship Manager series and was not the 5th Championship Manager game series.

Gameplay: 9 or 2

The meaning of these 2 scores were: This game was made for people who understood about FOOTBALL! For them who didn’t like football, keep your money away! Do you know, what were the excitement parts of Championship Manager? Finding talented youngsters, stressed when never win in every matches, etc. So, this game is excellent for football lover, not the opposite. Maybe if you did not like football, you will find this game is boring and pointless. Score: 9 for football mania, and 2 for non-football mania

Storyline: 1
We work as a manager in a team to make it the best team in the world. Was not a great story huh?

Sound: 6
An important part from a game because sound can make a game to be more interesting and to have more variations. Such a pity, Championship Manager has no more than yell from audiences and whistle from the referee plus ball sound. The second problem was the space from your computer. Sound takes for about 300 MB to install with. For ‘primitive’ computers, I suggest you not to install the sound.

Display: 7
A futuristic display with hundred of nice backgrounds, but when can we see our players in action?

This is the point of playing Championship Manager. 26 Leagues options surely make you try to use another club or league. This game did not have the end. So, it will make you play continuously until the newer version of Championship Manager released.

Challenge: 7
This game was easy if you use a strong football club. But if you use a crap team, it will make you stress for a while.

Overall: 8
This game was fun enough, especially because there were some important changes.

Buy or rent?
If you are a football fan, you should BUY it. But if you didn't like football, just rent it.
