"Join Darth Vader on the Dark side... and do some awesome stuff at the same time"

This is a DOS/Windows game that has awesome graphics, music, and you can do some awesome things.

Gameplay 10/10
The game isn't the easiest one to come along. It goes for more than 50-70 hours of gameplay. There is the main mission, and several sub-things you can do. You get higher ranks with the more points you get, and you can get into the Emperors secret order. You can also fly in the combat chamber, or fly in the training chamber. There is a film room where you can watch videos you record during flight, or go to the Tech room so you can check about ship status. There is a simple register, and almost unlimited save spaces. The game is automatically saved after you win a battle, and go back to the main hallway, or another battle. Battles can be replayed in the combat chamber. The controls are easy. Use the little pointer to select the name you want at the register, or stuff on the Options menu, or to get to a battle, training, or combat center. Once you see it, you'll understand. The in-flight controls are easy. Use the joystick or mouse to maneuver, and the buttons to fire rockets, missiles, or whatever your payload is. There are tons of special features that make this game unique!

Story 10/10
If you have seen the Star Wars movies, you will have a little better understanding of some of the people and ships. The basic story is this: The Emperor welcomes you into his Imperial Fleet. You must learn the specifics of the Imperial Naval starfighters at your disposal, their controls, weapons systems, and proper use. Learning this data thouroughly is the first step in bringing glory to the Empire! Serving the Emperor and defeating our enemy (the Rebels) is any pilots primary role. Succeeding in this will bring you to higher recognition and status; failure will bring more... unpleasant results. SERVE THE EMPEROR. Rather a very good story line. It tells you about what you can do to become one of the most known starfighters in the galaxy!

Audio/Video 10/10
TIE CD has some of the best graphics for the Windows 95 system, and the sound is even cooler. There are ship explosions, laser bursts, rockets firing, hyperspace sound, background music. It is all excellent and unmatched!

Replayability 10/10
TIE CD is one of those games that you never really get tired of. It has its phases, but you can't leave it unplayed for more than two weeks at the most!

To Buy/Rent Yes!
TIE CD is a great game to buy, and it costs about 35-50 dollars. It's worth every penny! Be sure your PC is compatible.

Glitches/Problems Kind of
Every once in a while the game screen glitches up, or the game freezes, but that isn't very often, which is a good thing!

Verdict 10/10
Excellent! This game is a definite keep!

Don't delay, play today!
