The Sims: House Party

"A Great Addition to a Great Game"

I first heard about this expansion pack back in January. Right away, I was excited. The Sims was already my favorite PC game I owned, and the expansion pack would give me an even greater amount of things to do with my Sims. Who wouldn't want to host a gigantic party for your Sims? Sure enough, as soon as I went out and bought it, the fun began.

Gameplay: 9/10

Gameplay is the same, you run your Sim's lives, controlling them from the time they wake up till the time they go to bed at night. This expansion pack isn't made to make gameplay different, it was made so you could host outrageous parties for your Sims! The best part is when you have a party on full swing, you can expect special guests to come by. Who you ask? That's a question you'll have to answer for yourself.

Control: 8/10

You control the Sims the same way you always do. You can make them do whatever you want, you control when they go to sleep, when they use the toilet, when they get on a mechanical bull on the hardest difficulty setting and fly off a second later screaming, but hey, that's just me. You can put them on the easy setting and let them enjoy a nice smooth ride if you want to.

Audio: 10/10

The sounds are better than ever, the DJ booth allows to play some wild music, which goes great with the disco dance floor for some really wild dances. Plenty of music will never let you get tired of it, especially when your watching your sims shaking their groove thang in a cage.

Graphics: 8/10

The graphics are the same of course, the only minor flaw is that if you have lots of people over for a party it tends to lag, but its not that bad.

Replayability: 10/10

Once you play it once, your hooked. You'll never want to stop. You will be continually playing the game every chance you get. Well, maybe I exaggerated a little, but this game is definitely worth coming back for.

Overall: 10/10

In my opinion, one of the best PC games out there. I'm sure that there are some people that would argue with me about it, and everyone has their opinion, but many people will agree with me that this is one of the best games out there. If you don't have the Sims and the two expansion packs, get them now, and go crazy!
