"Possibly the greatest PC Game EVER"

Introduction: Hi, I'm TruVboy and for the past spring break week that I have been home, I have lost 3pounds, gotten little sleep, and pretty much go crazy over the game Black and White. My review will tell everyone how good this game is.

Gameplay: Ah, this is one of the reasons a gamer plays his/her games for. The gameplay in Black and White is amazingly addictive. Its very simple, simpler than the simplest game I know, Diablo II. In fact, you can go through the whole game even without using the keyboard. Anyway, every thing is point and click, yet it is addictive. The game can be hard or easy, depending on the path you choose.

Story: Probably the most original story I've seen. None of that save the world crap. Its (without any plot spoilers) about being a god, and getting your people to worship you. You have to compete with other gods, and see who's best. You can choose to be evil or good (this is where the title comes from and is the RPG part of it). Over the course of the game, you find people who teach you stuff about your creature (your own little pet) and good things like that.

Audio/Visual: This is where this game shines. Every little sound, noise, anything can be heard. It goes into great detail with sound effects. There is speech in the game if you didn't know. There is this one quest where the guys sing to you in order to tell you what to do. Its awesome. The graphics, are truly amazing. None of the Final Fantasy stuff, its full out 3d. Final Fantasy is 3d characters, with pre-rendered backgruonds. But lets not get into that. The graphics in Black and White are very detailed, get more detailed, the more you zoom in. In fact, when your creature is hurt, you can see little blood dripping and stuff like that. The character models aren't the best, but they're acceptable.

Replayability: Awesome replayability. With over 300 quests (I think, maybe more or a little less) you will definitely miss a few before you beat this game. Theres always being bad for once, instead being the little teacher's pet. Or even online play. You WILL play this game more than once, unless you hate it, :-).

Buy or rent?: I don't think you can rent a PC game, but if you could, don't rent it. Its definitely worth all your money just buying it.
