"Bow before me!"

Alright I wanted to see what all the hype was all about so I bought black and white. When I first started I was greeted by an extremly long cut scene with footage from the game. I can tell you from when I first started the backrounds were rendered beautifuly and the people were animated to perfection.

You save a boy from drowning from a river. The parents thank you and everyone hails to you. They build a temple for you as they think you are now their new god. Now you can be god as one of 2 ways, good or evil. The decision is up to you by how you solve conflicts and treat your villagers.

This game will literally keep you playing for hours! I'm still groggy from playing till 1 in the morning. From great AI in your creature that learns things in a way that are mind boggiling to you. It sucks you in the first time you play it.

Graphics 10/10
This is what a pc game should look like. From the beautiful backrounds to the facial expression animation of the villagers. The colors are all in perfect harmony.

Control 10/10
you couldn't believe it but you do all the miracles and all the hand motions with just the touch of a mouse! There easy to figure out and a sinch to handle and work around.

Audio 9/10
The eerie music of sounds in the temple really set the tone of the game. The score is breath-taking as you do your daily chores, this music really gets you into the feel of the game.

Gameplay 10/10
This game has it all! The music and the controls, with the surroundings to go with it. Your decision to find a women's sick brother to get a stone or just smash the house with a rock and get it yourself and you can be more creative than that! The engaging story and the load of things to do really keep you playing.

Replay Value 9/10
You can play each world as long as you want and move onto the next whenever your ready. It takes a while to really perfect every single place and there's skirmish mode to have something else to do. Or you can start all over to see what it's like to be evil instead of good or the other way around.

Buy or rent:
BUY BUY BUY! This is game is a must buy, you have to see to believe. Of course I don't think that many viedeo stores have pc games to rent but that doesn't matter since this game is way too good to pass up an opertunity to get. If you have a good pc and some money than go find this game NOW!
