The Sims: House Party

Review by Oracle Cat V

"Oh my god, Wrights done it again!"

Will Wright is a genius! First The Sims, Then Livin' Large, now House Party! What is this guy going to think up next?!

GAMEPLAY-10/10
This game is not too hard, but not so easy, either. It has all of the requirements that the other two games have, but much more stuff. The controls have stayed the same, even though you don't really need to memorize them. The basic controls are the number keys 1-3, and the mouse.

STORY-10/10
None of the Sim games have stories. They have themes, yeah, but not stories. The Sims is basically about doing what you want to do and not to worry about finishing it or making it to the end.

REPLAYABILITY-0/10
As I said before, this is not the kind of game has an ending, or a story, but it also doesn't have replayability.

AUDIO/STEREO-9.5/10
This game has wonderful graphics, and the movements of the simulants are surprisingly realistic. The graphics are great from the start, but they may be a bit choppy depending on the speed of your computer. I think the sound could be better. The sound effects of the appliances, the doors, and the other household items are great, but it's the simulants I'm worried about. They go around talking gibberish. They whimper when they have to use the toilet, and they grunt when you wake them up early, which I like, it's their ''language'' I don't like.

RENT OR BUY
Buy. Definitely buy this game. Some of my friends don't like this game, and that's okay with me, but if you were to ask me, I would tell you to buy it. It has excellent Gameplay, great Graphics, good Sound Effects, and it is very addicting. I advise you strongly to just go out to Toys'R'Us or something and buy this game immediately!

NOTE: If you do decide to buy all of them, install them in this order:
The Sims
The Sims: Livin' Large
The Sims: House Party
If you don't, the games will get all screwed up and you'll have to install them all over again. Also, You have to get the first one before you install the other ones. The other two are useless without it. You don't have to have Livin' Large to install House Party, but if you get Livin' Large if you have House Party, uninstall House Party, install Livin' Large, then install House Party again. If you don't. your computer will go crazy.

I hope my review has been of some help to you, and I hope you go out to the store and buy all of the Sim games. You will really enjoy them! honestly, you will! Bye now!
