"When a little bunny, carray a BIG gun!!!"

Jazz Jackrabbit. That game took the PC platform game of the year in 1994.. And it took FOUR years to cough up a sequel.
But the sequel was great when it came. I don't know what made it the way it was, it could have been that there's just some thing about a game with a short, green, really big gun toting rabbit that has a certain appeal. Or I'm just crazy. Probably both. So, I'm rating this game.

GAME PLAY: You really can't describe the game play of a platform shooter. The only things you needed
to know before playing were: Run like the wind. Shoot anything that moves. If you can't shoot it, take it. Jazz2 also adds the character of Jazz's little bro Spaz. 10/10

STORY: Well, in the last Jazz game, you had to rescue Princess Eva Earlong from the turtle terrorist Devan Shell. You whip Devan's slimy butt, and rescue the princess. You go home, are going to marry the princess, but keeping criminally insane turtle down is a lot harder than it sounds. Devan smashes in on the wedding, steals Eva's big diamond ring which he's going to use to power his time machine. He plans to use the machine to go back in time to wipe out rabbits. (No kidding! That is the plot!)5/10

GRAPHICS: This game has impeccable graphics. IMPECCABLE!!!! There is an option for 3D background,
and in darker levels, you have AMBIANCE!!! The character graphics are some of the most cartoonish I've seen. I really dont care much for graphics, AND I LOVE IT!!!10/10

SOUND/MUSIC: The music is great, as well as fun. The sound is great to match. If you leave Jazz alone long enough, he'll stomp hit foot and yell at you.9/10

CONTROLS: The controls are pretty much the first Jazz game, but since you can customize the controls,
there really isn't much to talk about here. Except one thing. The addition of a ''run'' key. You shouldn't need a ''run'' key in a game like this. But you move as slow as Sonic walking up a hill without it. Ok, maybe not that slow, but close.?/10

CHALLENGE: Well, this is a long game by platform standards. And the enemy design is nice. And three
levels of difficulty, so it's hard to rate this part. anywhere from 3/10-8/10

FUN FACTOR: This game is fun. A lot of fun. And funny. Through out the series, the programmers seem
insistent on picking on Craig, the public relations manager.(Don't tell me I'm the only one who reads the credits!!!) 10/10

PRICING: I'm not sure on this. I got mine for $10 at Radio Shack, bundled in with a Beanie Baby catalog
program. If you can find a copy, it shouldn't be more than that. Just buy the thing.

OVERALL: Jazz is unique in a way that it feels like Sonic, Duke Nukem, and Mega Man, but clearly isn't.
I don't know exactly what Jazz has, but it sure is fun!!!9/10
