Asheron's Call

Review by ssj4 kakarot

"A good Game with a few minor flaws."

I really like this game there are many great features but there are some minor flaws.

One of the big things that I enjoy is the allegiance system it is a good way to make friends in the game while also receiving help at the same time and it makes the game a lot easier and more fun.

Another is the character design you can make your character one of three races and customize them yourself or use templates that are pre designed one. You can also pick the skills that your character is learned in.

The Graphics are also fairly good most dungeons look very good they have great detail and designs while others are just pathetic most however are good. The characters also look good the armor and weapons look amazing.

One of the main good things is the quests there are a lot of them some take about 30 minutes to do other may last you days and some even take two groups to complete one quest. The longest quest lasts from level 1 to about 30.

Now we get to the things in the game that aren't that great one of the major let downs is the sound. There is really any music just sounds of crickets in the wilderness and the sounds of monsters that get quite annoying and are weird. Also the magic system the spells look good and theres a variety but the way you learn them isn't that great you just pick out comps and see if they make a spell. Plus there are programs that tell you what comps you need to make a certain spell so it isn't any fun to try and figure them out. Another problem is that some of the best dungeons are laggy but of course its an Internet RPG so what can be done.

I would just like to add that in some of the reviews that I have read on this site about Asheron's Call some of them say that all you do is run around in the wilderness forever without hitting anything that is complete nonsense. Some of the cities are isolated but that is what makes the game fun it makes it a challenge to get to them plus there are also portal subways that take you to all the major cities.

So overall I enjoy the game it is a lot of fun with only a few minor problems overall I say buy the game it is a great purchase and is worth the $10 you have to pay every month excluding the first month.
