I've played many a game in my time! But nothing, absolutely nothing compares to Max Payne!

Ever wanted to be in an action movie? Ever played the action movie's game and it just didn't measure up? Well this isn't a movie, but it gives the feel of an action game. Nothing puts you in an action movie like Max Payne, with its bullet time, shoot dodge, duck and roll, and many of the tight spots you have to shoot your way out of like in the movies. And it adjust to your playing style so if you....well..stink at computer games on a whole, well don't worry, the game will be nice to your, but if your a gaming god, well, get ready to have your toots tossed!

Features
Shoot dodging, great for diving behind walls and shooting, doing backward dives from doors while shooting, lunging forward while shooting, and thats not all, while shoot dodging you can also aim the opposite way. Outstanding!

Bullet Time, for those hard to get through spots...great for bosses, etc. Its nothing until you try it yourself.

The CD comes with the Max Payne Level editor, Actor Editor for character creation, and Particle editor, like debris and such.

Graphics
Photo-realism, need i say more? If you need more, lets just say you can really feel like your in New York, Heck. It feels more New York than New York itself, and I should know!

Decals gallore! drop ammo clips, bullet caps, bodies, they all stay in the same spot you left them in. Bullet holes stay in their place, particles from bullets and explosions made to the ''T''!

And for those who hate ''jaggies'' all over their game that it pokes you in the eye...well..this is your game. Less jaggies...even if you do see jaggies you need a magnifying glass.

Control
Awesome control, not to fast and not to slow, and it is adjustable. Running Turning the basics nothing really crazy about the control

Story
Story is more perfect than perfect. The plot Thicken and makes you wonder. Some of the plot is readable. The ''dream'' (most called them ''drugged'') levels help further the story to wonder what is really going through Max Payne's mind other than revenge, and trying to stay hard core.

Overall
Holy Mother of Pearl! Are you STILL reading this? Go out and buy the game already! All that many are waiting for are for the nice people at Remedy, GodGames, and 3D Realms to come up with an Multiplayer patch. It is possible.
