Review by DoofyDude
"They were right! This surrealistic adventure did become my world!"
Gameplay 10/10
This game is patient people style. It takes very long to get though this game and to beat it. Lots of puzzles are to be solved in this game and it's fun trying to solve them. You use your mouse to move around and do stuff by clicking at places. First of all, you start on an Island called Myst. You read the red and blue books that have the two brothers in them and they tell you that you have to get the red and blue pages. So you have to find out how to get to all of the ages (the levels) and there's a lot of answers in the books in the library. The books not only have answers to stuff on the island that you start on, but for the other levels too.
Graphics 10/10
This game has the nicest graphics. How did they get pictures of stuff that they didn't have and make them look real?! And how did they manage to make this game use 256 color and have near 32-bit pictures and graphics. The graphics look very, very realistic.
Story 10/10
The story is very interesting. Here's some of it: ''A great injustice has been done... and I, Abrus, have paid the price. The books I have created lead to worlds so fantastic, they could fill a life time. But something has gone terribly wrong and my creations are beening destroyed by someone's greed. I suspect one of my sons, either Sirrus or Achenar, but I cannot be sure. I dare not write further without revealing too much. My only hope is that I can find the answer before it's too late.''
Controls 10/10
The controls are very easy. You use the mouse to do stuff. That's it.
Sound 10/10
The graphics are not the only thing that seem realistic. The sounds sound very realistic, too. Like when you walk up to a clock tower in one of the levels, you can hear the clock ticking and it sounds very real.
Challenge 10/10
This game is one of the hardest games out there. It would take a couple of years to be this game maybe even more.
Replay Value 8/10
Well I haven't beaten the game yet so I don't know what you can do after you beat it, but there's probably nothing really to do so I gave the replay value in this game an 8.
Overall 10/10
Well I said that this game is one of the hardest games out there and would take years to beat. Well maybe not years, but a whole lot of months. Maybe even one year. Well anyway this game is great and I sure like it and so should you and a whole lot of other people.
