Review by Bukkuli

"Great strategy game. Hours of play, different each time."

This is one of my favorite games of all time. It has strategy, war, espionage, and an economic system that is second to none.

You start out with one decent sized town and a fort with your king and 8 men. You build factories, mines and markets for trade, using caravans to deal with exports and imports. You build forts and camps to train your men and capture independent towns that need a ruler. You train your spies to infiltrate you enemies buildings, doing things like stealing secrets, stealing technology, causing a war between two other kingdoms, and assassination. You research important factors in your success, like advanced farming, advanced close combat, advanced range combat, advanced defence, special unit structures, unit berserkers, weapons like catapults, and many many more.

Graphics--- 7/10
The buildings are great looking. The people are small, and lack detail. But for the time this was released (1999), the graphics are quite decent.
Gameplay--- 10/10
Keeps me occupied for hours (sometimes).
Sound--- 5/10
Some ok music tunes, but not at the level of the original. Also some of the building and unit noises can get a bit annoying.
Replay Value--- 10/10
A different game every time you play it. Tweak the settings to your liking.

Overall (not an average)-- 9/10
Many improvements over the original, yet some minor changes that could have been left. Seven Kingdoms II, so far, is my favorite strategy game of all time.
