"So-So, but still pretty darn good!"

If you enjoy shooters, this game is for you. If you enjoy World War II weapons and driving World War II vehicles, this game is for you. And finally, if you enjoy sneaking up behind an unsuspecting Nazi, pulling out your knife, and sticking him in the back, then this game is for you. Yes my friends, this game has it all. You can pick from a variety of weapons from the Allies and Axis, and also drive some of the popular modes of transportation as you crouch down and snipe a soldier in the head from a broken window frame, all from the comforts of your favorite chair.

Story: 6/10
The story is one of the weak parts of the game. Basically you are a part of one of the most well trained group of men (12 to be exact) who go around doing missions. They are a bunch of un-disciplined men with no respect for authority. Sounds like your basic setup for an in-depth up close and personal military game.

Gameplay 9/10
Now this is where Deadly Dozen really shines. Authentic weapons and vehicles. You can give orders to the other three who are with you. The best part is being able to sneak up behind some one and stab them. Or you can play it safe and snipe them from a hundred yards away. The enemy AI is pretty good, with soldiers reacting like a real soldier would at a gunshot.

Graphics 8/10
The graphics for this game is ALMOST superb. The bushes are the same four point ones you think are real when you see them on the other end of the fog, and the soldiers start getting gritty when you look at them through the scope of the sniper rifle. But the graphics are really damn good even from the start.

Sound 7/10
The sound is some of the best you can get in a game. The music isn't. The sounds from the guns when they fire are amazingly life-like. When you give orders the men respond with the gruff, military voice you would expect. Explosions are life-like also. The music on the other hand is non-existent. It sounds good when you go into the files and play them, or when you turn the volume up pretty high.

Overall 8/10
Overall I give this game an eight out of ten, though I wish I could give it an eight and a half. The gameplay is near perfect, the graphics are good, the sound is mediocre, and the story down right sucks. All in all though, this game is good. And it fully deserves its eight.
