The Sims: Hot Date

"Good game, but very confusing."

This game is a good game and should have gotten a higher score. But, the game was just too difficult to understand, and to hard to get the new features. Take the downtown area for example. That is a new feature, that is not very well explained. Making shops, is yet another hard too grasp feature. I think if I had a better explanation of things, I would enjoy the game much more than I do right now.

GRAPHICS: 8

The graphics were good. The characters movements are full, and the faces are clear. All though, it may cause the game to lag a little and you may have to turn the graphic settings down, to get smoother gameplay, the graphics are all right.

GAMEPLAY: 5

This is surprisingly the worst feature in the game, for quite a few reasons. One of the main reasons is that all the new features are poorly explained, and you become clueless of what is going on. Take this for example, when you turn on the game you see another button, with more houses. What is that? You click it, and it gives you some crazy mumbo-jumbo about the Downtown area. So, once you finally make a family, and take some Sims Downtown, you walk around and see stores, and people. Okay, your low on cash. You go back to the house, get a job and go back. After all that time, the only real good thing to do is to go Downtown and spend all the money you just earned.

SOUND: 8

This is pretty good. Nothing is really blurred, and the character voices are fairly clear. Even though the characters talk like babies, the voices that come out of their mouths, are clear, and can be herd, without too much effort. I can't hear that good, and I could hear these voices, on a lower volume, about twenty feet away(I couldn't hear them good, but I herd them).

OVERALL: 7

Why do I give this game a seven? It is a great game where your Sims can expierence love first hand. Why give it a seven? Why give it a seven you ask, simply because, when I first started playing it, and until about three weeks later, I am still trying to figure out what the new features do. That is why I give this game a seven. The only thing I don't really like is the Gameplay. I sound and graphics are just above average, but the gameplay is too confusing.
