"A great game, especially if you like RPGs."

Story: (10/10): Easily one of the best stories I've seen so far in a video game. Not only can you change the story with your actions, but each individual NPC has a story behind them.

Graphics (7/10): Not the best, but not too bad. Most people would have to turn the graphics down a bit to avoid the slowdown during big battles. There is quite a bit of choppiness during some parts of the game. Besides that, the graphics are good.

Gameplay (9/10): The most important part of the game is one of the best things about it. Battles are very fun, especially if you have a mage in your party. The reason I gave this a 9 is because players with less patience will find certain parts more boring, like towns and the first place in the game.

Sound (10/10): Very nice. I'm no fan of video game music, but I can tell you that the music is well done. The music is also very fitting. You hear town music in towns and action music during the fights. The music gets better and faster paced as you get into harder/more important battles. The voice acting is done very well too. The acting is dramatic and doesn't sound corny at all. In towns you will hear yells and cries, making the towns sound much more believable.

Multiplayer (2/10): Uhh....no. This is the downside of the game. If you plan on getting this game, don't expect to play online much. Not only is the online play not popular, but it is very hard to find a game to join. To join the game you must have the exact same EVERYTHING as the person who made it, such as frame rate, game version, etc. It also has a lot of hacked characters and bugs. Even when you do join, the game is only okay. The game creator is in charge of everything, so if your game creator is not so nice, you will NOT have fun playing. Players often roam around, so the battles will be much more difficult, especially if your friends aren't very good. Some people don't mind it, but I sure do.

Overall (not an average) (9/10): A very good game. If you want a good RPG to play on your computer, buy Baldur's Gate 2, but do not buy it planning on playing with it friends. Keep in mind that the expansion makes the game even better.
