The Sims: Hot Date

"Love or Hate this game...I love it!"

This game is for all you lovers out there who want to play a game where love is in the air! If you have played other Sims games like Livin It Up, etc, then you will know that you can choose loads of different clothes for your sims including ripped to tuxedos. You can control all the different sexes (except for hermaphrodites). You can have children or adult sims. You can make two men become gay and two women become lesbians if you get them together.

The House

There are about five Sim towns for moving sims into. You can make houses out of cement walls and paint them in dull or lovely colours. If you are building a house you will have to change the grass into carpet by clicking on the carpet icon. You can have objects which are electric or not electric and I suggest you try the electric vibrating bed!

Downtown

The point of the game is to make two people fall in love with each other and to do that you can take a cab downtown to shops and restaurants. You can go on downtown mode and make your own restaurant and shop by using candy aisles and bars. If you buy pianos on downtown mode you can get pianists to play for you.

Who Comes To The Door?

In the house you can kill your own people and once they are dead the Grim Reaper comes. If you are a child who is on his/her own and sad then the tragedy clown comes into your house. The only way to get the clown away is to ring up the clown catchers on the telephone. If you have some good house objects like a computer and you haven’t got a burglar alarm then a burglar will come and steal it when your sim is asleep. If your sim has friends then they will sometimes pop round your house to see you.

Skill Points

If you have bought a swimming pool and your sim has had a bit of a long swim in it then they will get a skill point and the same thing will happen if they have had a go on a guitar, piano, etc.

Graphics and Playability

The graphics in this game are brilliant! If you get close up on people then you will see all the fantastic detail on their faces and clothes. Also if you get a close up on walls that have been painted and they are not one colour you will see all different patterns.
This game will last for ages and it is great fun to play.

Sound

When your sims don’t want to do things that you tell them to they will make a funny sound. Also when your sims are playing an instrument such as a piano or guitar they will either make good music (if they have had practise) or bad music (if they haven’t).

Final Verdict

I think you should buy this expansion pack game for PC because I gave it 10/10. Nice one EA and Maxis!
