"A Must Have City-Builder"

We all have heard of SimCity and others who follow in it's footsteps but few capture it just perfect. Pharaoh broke down walls with its temples, wandering townsfolk and its massive pyramids. Read on to see how great this game really was.

STORY: 8/10

City-builders (much like fighters) are not dependent on a story but they make one anyways. In this one its a simple concept. You play as a leader of a village or city, depending on which city you are on decides your rank. You go through a family dynasty of cities from a small village elder to a great pharaoh. Neat but not why the game is great.

CONTROL: 10/10

So simple and easy. Point and click and sometimes click and drag. A very easy menu to follow and mini map allows you change which part of the city you are in in a second. As I said, easy to learn and to use. They are as smooth as Buttah. Thats right, buttah.

GRAPHICS: 9/10

Highly detailed is all you can say. You can see everything from an annoying alligator to the tiny hieroglyphics on some buildings. You can even see the detail on your villager's clothes and they're incredibly small in the first place!!! Buildings are correct size too. A hunting shed looks to only hold about 5 people while a pyramid reaches to Ra himself.

SOUND: 15/10

YES THAT GOOD! The theme (or intro song if you wanna call it that) is so catchy you'll be dancing in your living room until someone smacks you and brings you back to reality. Your villagers talk to you when you click on them and temples make a kinda prayer sound when you click on them. You know the noise, that ''Wahhhhh'' kinda sound. Really great sound effects.

GAMEPLAY: 10/10

As I said above, its easy to control and its as fun as burning a copy of a Slipknot's first album. Making huge cities and protecting your villagers from plagues of opposiing gods and armies of opposing cities blends together so nicely it makes you wanna smack yourself. I have many times.

OVERALL: 10/10

You owe it yourself to get this game and its expansion. It's a great addition to anyone's library. Just remember the words of a once great pharaoh named Anakaris ( from Darkstalkers OF COURSE!!), ''Those who follow me shall br protected and those who oppose me shall be crushed. Anywhere and at anytime, this rule is unshakable''
