Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal

"No doubt, a perfect expansion set, and a great ending to the Bhaal Child saga"

For the gamers who liked Baldurs Gate 2, Shadows of Amn, and wanted more, this expansion set has been made. Updated graphics, a new NPC (actually, an old acquaintance), new sounds, new conversations, new spells, level cap raised, special abilities that make your character(s) extremely powerful, a BIG Dungeon called ''Watchers Keep'', the ''romances'' continue, a LOT of new Items, Weapons, Armor and new monsters to fight (Including the chance to fight Price of Demons Demogorgon Himself), multiple endings, character endings and a pocket plane that allows you to travel to certain points later on are the ingredients for this add-on. If you have beaten Shadows of Amn, the story automatically continues in Throne of Bhaal. The Dungeon ''Watchers Keep'' can be played in Shadows of Amn and in Throne of Bhaal. Also, the owners of Shadows of Amn should remember the shattered artifacts that the Dwarf Cromwell could repair. Now in your pocket plane, lives an Imp called Cespenar who would repair OTHER shattered artifacts, and some of them require a choice. (for example: You remember the Caromsyr +5? Now we have a Bastard Sword +3, Purfier. You have the Caromsyr. You have the Item needed to upgrade one of them. Which will you let Cespenar upgrade?) And at certain levels you get High Level Abilities. These vary from class to class. A Mage would be able to let an enormous comet to hit the Earth and a Fighter could be able to smack a creature literally 100 feet away, while Thiefs could place even more deadly traps, Clerics are able to revive all dead party members and restore a load of their health and Druids are able to summon the greatest of Elementals

They really improved the graphic animations and created new sprites. And those new high Level Abilities look great.

Nothing really new, but there ARE new character speeches, some new sounds and the new spells sound VERY good
Gameplay: 10
This will keep you away from the streets for a month or 3, 4. And then you could download Ascension, which allows you to have more options, adds a few new NPCs and makes some fights even harder
Fun factor: 10
Character speeches are hilarious as always (especially if you have Edwin, Minsc and/or Jan in your party) Not to mention even the PC has some funny remarks here and there.

Its a great ending to the Bhaal saga. The amount of new items, spells, monsters, puzzles, battles and Watchers Keep make it a Must Buy for everyone who liked Shadows of Amn.
