"Got the Sims? Then get the amazing add-on, Hot Date."

History:

Ok, first things first, The Sims, the original was so good that me and my brother got addicted to it. Then EA announced this, and we got really excited about it. We bought it, and I played on it for a while. Here is what I think about it.

Graphics: 8/10

The graphics are very, very good, but they aren't up to the standard of, say, Devil May cry, but thats a whole different story. All in all, the graphics are very very good, with occasional moments of genius, like the faces and clothes and certain items that you can buy. All in all, its worth the 8 I gave it.

Sound: 9/10

Amazing. Best way I can describe it. The little sims running about having conversations is life-like, and the replies you get are amazing, like kissing somebody with no hygiene provokes one of the most funniest responses ever. The only reason why I give it 9/10 is because some of the music in-game is really, really annoying, but some of it isn't, like when you go to buy stuff and build stuff. Thankfully, you can turn it down, which is what I do, after I get a headache form that damn music.

Replayabilty: 10/10

You will just keep coming back to this, and keep inventing new situations for your sims. It's very hard to not come back to the game itself, as me and my brother found out. You can create lots of families, there are plenty of jobs, and there are eight neighborhoods in which to create your little empire of sims. Plus, you can download new items and skins, although I recommend that you keep a copy of the data on a different computer, just in case it bugs with your new washing machine that you just downloaded. There are plenty of new things to give your sims in TS:HD, and there are many different things to do, such as go downtown, go on a date, hang out with friends, or just sit at home playing on your downloaded gamecube, with no friends.

Hot date or Cold date?

Well, if you are like me, its definitely worth the money to buy the game, and the original. So, I give it 9/10, only subtracting a point because of the annoying music at certain times. The Sims: Hot Date deserves some attention from everybody. The Sims: Hot Date is, at the very least, amazing, and can be expanded using the next expansion pack, TS: Vacation. So, thats my little speech on The Sims, now you decide about it.
